The first-floor lounge in Ohio University's Baker Center has been re-opened for student use, with most of the planned changes for the lounge already in effect.
According to Sujit Chemburkar, executive director of event services for OU, the official opening and corresponding ribbon-cutting ceremony will not be until fall 2012. The lounge has makeshift tables and chairs for West 82 restaurant lunch-goers in the meantime.
